Slurrrrrppp………! 😛 I hope, this must be the reaction of y’all listening to the very tempting word “Cold Coffee” ans that becomes even more tempting when you hear and see Cold Coffee in scorching Summer. Cold Coffee is very special to me as it is one of the initial recipes that I tried making in my Cooking training lessons. It has very simple and easy recipe that gives very slurpacious beverage. When I tried first I followed Sanjeev Kapoor’s recipe but when you become a bit Pro in making beverages. You can use your gut feel proportions to make it. From this post, I hope you’ll find a recipe of Cold Coffee as marketed in various cafes, so say bye bye to those heavily spent beverage and make your own & feel cherished on your work-
Here goes its simple and easy recipe-
Coffee-3 heaped tsps
Castor Sugar-3+1/2 tsps
Milk-1+1/2 Cups (at room temp)
Vanilla Icecream- half of brick (around 200g)
Ice cubes-8-9 cubes
Chocolate syrup- to garnish (optional)
Chocolate shavings/chips-to garnish (optional)
Steps to follow-
- Put in coffee, castor sugar, and milk in a blender. Blend till all mixes well and becomes frothy and light.
- Add vanilla ice-cream & ice cubes and churn it again for few seconds till you feel all ice cubes are roughly crushed.
- Now take a glass, drop chocolate syrup through the sides of glass. Pour the Coffee mixture in to the glass and serve immediately with some chocolate chips/chocolate shaves.
