Hello buddies. This time I am sharing Falafels dish which is a middle eastern dish. After having it Pinterested for long time in my Random Bookmarked Dishes Board, I gave a try. Though I had already given it a try earlier seeing somewhere scrolling through various recipes but that first time didn’t give satisfying results.
This time I ground it a bit pasty rather than thick grainy. That pastiness gave it binding. Though I got reminded for recipe from Pinterest but its made in Indian style and has got Recipe Reference( adapted adjusted to taste) from Veg Recipe of India. Another thing I made variation is that instead of deep frying , I shallow fry it.
Timing-Preparation Time-10 min
Cooking Time- 15 min
Category-appetizer/snacks or mains
Chickpeas/Garbanzo beans- 1 cup (cooked)
Onion-1 medium (finely chopped)
Garlic- 2-3 finely chopped/crushed
Red chilli- 1 tsp
Coriander Powder- 1 tsp
Cumin Powder- 1 tsp
All Purpose Flour- 2-3 Tbsp
Coriander leaves- 3 tbsp
salt- to taste
Oil- for shallow frying
Steps to follow-
- Boil Chickpeas with a pinch of cooking soda.
- Take all the ingredients in the grinder and grind a bit grainy and pasty.
- now add all purpose flour and mix everything.
- make patties and shallow fry with whole mix.
- Serve hot with pesto/chutney or with pita bread.
